A bunch of us at Clearspring can’t get through a day without Pandora’s music streaming in our ears. Me included.

But as many of you know, we’re at risk of losing Pandora due to a massive retroactive royalty hike on Internet radio stations.

To raise awareness and to let people know how they can fight back, we started IHeartPandora.com, a landing page to learn about the problem learn what you can do, and grab a widget badge to show your support.

We have three versions of the badge which you can find on IHeartPandora.com. I put the 300×250 one below, which you can grab right from here.

So put it on your Facebook, Myspace, Wordpress…. wherever… and use the email link in the widget to fire off your vote of support.

Help keep the music on!

SXSW has become one of the premier conferences for the Web 2.0 industry and is a perfect opportunity for us to tell a lot of people about the role of widgets in social media.

Clearspring submitted three panels for SXSW 2009. “True Life: I’m a Successful Widget,” will explore how a mainstream brand was able to infiltrate the social networks with their widget; “How Sharing is Reshaping the Web” describes the role of the widget as the social aggregator; and “How I Got Paid for Getting Grabbed” describes how folks are monetizing widgets.

Here’s the thing: panels at SXSW are chosen, in part, by online voters. Which is where we need your help. I’d like to ask you to take a few minutes before August 29th to go online to the SXSW panel picker and vote for one or all of our panels.

Check out the widget below with some handy links to vote!

Thanks for your help!
